The Gardens at Hampton Court were absolutely enormous. There were three of them behind the house, and the largest one stretched so far out that I couldn't see the end of it. The picture to the right is of the smallest and most decorative garden. It was very well-kept, and possibly my favorite part of the entire tour at Hampton Court.
Below: A "trufella tree" from the decorative garden. (At least, that's what we thought it looked like.)
Right: All the trees in the largest garden were shaped like this. It was a very odd style, and we called them mushroom trees.
